Tencent and its new facial recognition function

Chinese tech giant Tencent, rolled out a facial recognition function named midnight patrol to check on people under the age of 18 playing online games with an adult ID. China has banned young citizens from playing online games between 10 pm and 8 am to reduce the excessive gaming culture among the youth.
