Nissan’s smart robot doing all the work at a factory

Some company’s take no time to adapt to the new age technologies. Now Nissan’s “intelligent factory” employs almost no humans. The job is done by robots, including welding, and mounting. They do the painting and check their work. Its assembly line is designed so that all three types of models can be built on the same line: electric, e-Power (which has both a motor and an engine), and those powered by a normal combustion engine. As the line progresses, each vehicle is loaded with the appropriate powerplant.

Workers at the plant may now concentrate on more specialized tasks such as analyzing data acquired by robots and maintaining equipment. Almost all automakers are keen on developing robotic technology to improve flexibility and allow them to respond rapidly to market demand
